Liberty Institute of Fashion Technology (LIFT) & Liberty Publication , Pune was stated by Dilip Karampuri Sir Three decade’s ago to teach fashion designing to needy people to help them to earn livelihood and live a dignified life.
Our main branch is located in Heart of Pune at Shanipar chowk and 8 other branches are spread across Maharashtra and ,Viz Sinhagad Road , Chinchwad , Bhosari Vishrantwadi-Pune , Pirangut-Pune ,Nagpur , Dadar-Mumbai and also at Thane-Mumbai. All these branche’s are well equipped to conduct all our courses. Many students have successfully completed the courses and started their own boutiques / business and living a dignified life.
Liberty Institute is one of the leading institutes in India which conducts 1 year Computerised Fashion designing course which covers Punjabi Dress designing, Blouse designing, Western Top designing & under Computerise Sketching Costume Designing is taught using Adobe IIustration Software along with Coral & Photoshop. Basic and advanced courses are also conducted. Advanced courses are of 3 months to 1 year duration. A well equipped ladies hostel of 22 beds is available for the convince of students residing out of pune.
Recently we have started our Maharashtrian Traditional Nauwari saree Designing courses.
Main branch is spread across 2000 Sq. Feet of commercial space in Pune. It is well equipped with machines & well trained Staff. A well equipped computer lab is Setup to add advantage for our students.
Presently “ Liberty Publication ” have 21 Titles under our publication covering all the major subjects in fashion designing in 8 languages Viz English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
Seminar’s / workshop’s on latest fashion cuttings , Designer Blouses , Punjabi dresses and Nauwari sarees are organized for needy people with a nominal fee of 150-300 Rs. Many needy ,uneducated and educated women can open their own business from their house using our books and courses and earn a livelihood and live a dignified life. The seminar is conducted for 2 days. On first day designer Punjabi dresses, cutting & stitching information is given through the projector and live demo by Dilip Karampuri Sir himself. Many new fashions , Pattern’s are taught & all the quires of the students are solved there and then. In the same way on second day different designer blouses are shown. Proper guidance is given to all the women on how to make their existing business more profitable. In past 3 decades total 300 seminars are conducted in various cities across Maharashtra , Gujarat ,Goa and also in Karnataka.
All our videos are available for free viewing on youtube ,for which the views are 13 millions and subscription is around 56,454 till date . We have also telecast episodes on ZEE TV for fashion designing . New episodes are in pipeline which will be telecast in near future. Shortly we will be launching books with demo CD’S by which learning will be more easy and interesting.
